Testimonials
“ The PDM Steel Internship Program
gave me a valuable peak into the world of steel, a dynamic industry that
touches most markets in one way or another."
-Kyle Roberts, Inside Sales Manager, PDM Stockton (University of the Pacific Graduate)
“Having the opportunity to be a part of the Internship Program for PDM Woodland was a fantastic
experience for both my growth and knowledge of the steel industry, specifically
in the Pacific Northwest. From spending time with drivers on deliveries, to
being involved in outside sales calls, to staging material and loading trucks,
the PDM Internship Program offers an incredible insight as to how our steel is
delivered safely and securely with the highest levels of attention and quality.
What I was most impressed by during my time in the Internship Program was the culture at the Woodland branch and how much everyone cared for each
other’s growth and development. The moment I saw that was the moment that I
knew PDM Steel was the right place for me.”
-Matt Dee, Outside Sales, PDM Woodland (Central Washington University Graduate)
The Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. Employee Relief Fund, Reliance Cares, exists to help employees who are facing financial hardship immediately after a natural disaster. Reliance Cares relies primarily on individual donations from employees – which are matched by Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. – to fund its grants.
Donations are accepted year round. They can be one-time or recurring via credit card or payroll deductions. Reliance also holds an annual company-wide donation drive. No matter the amount, every contribution helps to provide the support a fellow employee needs when facing the unexpected.
